The camera eats first.
We fix the light, the colour and the sharpness of your food photo.
We never add steam, garnish, props or anything that wasn't there.
The food on the plate stays untouched. Around it, we may tidy up or calm a busy, dark background.
The dish stays exactly as it was — it just looks the way it tasted.

How it works & photo tips
FotoGusto turns everyday food photos into images that look as good as the food tasted. Upload a photo and your enhanced image is ready in about two minutes — then try other styles if you like.

The two styles
Natural — fixes light, colour and clarity, and keeps your dish exactly as it is: same food, same plate, nothing added or faked.
Magazine version — goes for maximum visual impact. It can change a lot beyond the food itself: the table, the background, the props and the whole mood of the shot. Choose Natural if you want the photo to stay true to the moment.
Photo tips for the best results
- Get the whole dish in frame, with a little space around the plate.
- Hold steady — a sharp photo gives a much better result than a blurry one. In dim light, rest your elbows on the table.
- Wipe your phone’s lens first. A greasy lens makes everything look hazy.
- Shoot from above or at a 45° angle, like you would for Instagram.
- Skip the flash. Restaurant light, window light or a dim evening table are all fine — that’s what FotoGusto is for.
- Keep hands, phones and people out of the shot where you can.
- Upload the original photo, without filters or edits.
- Made for food: restaurant plates, home cooking and desserts. Drinks and photos without food may not give good results.
